May
started as April left off, hot & sunny but went downhill
from the 7th onwards. Apart from the odd sunny day here
and there May was wet and often quite windy but
generally warm.
The beach at
Salcombe Regis on a very warm and sultry day in early May.
There was quite a lot of sea mist around which added to the
humidity making it feel stifling. The sea is still quite
cold in early May despite a very warm April at around 13C.
