A fine end to the longest day

A maximum of 20.4C which occurred around 17:30 as the cloud melted away to an evening of a pristine deep blue sky and scorching sunshine. Shame the Continental crud is coming our way to spoil the visibility.

This was the highest maximum since 21.6C on the 1st. That is really remarkable and shows how continually (and unusually) cool this June has been. All change soon.

Monthly sunshine now at 107 hours. It is going to take some to stop this month ending up in the very dull category. Annual total now at 913 hours.

A beautiful evening to top the longest day. All downhill from now on!
